Lot Sous Toile is a small glamping site in SW France...

... with three safari tents, nestled at the edge of a wood, on the top of a hill, with beautiful views over the glorious countryside of the Lot Department. It is a lovely calm and restful place for people to come and relax, to walk or cycleswim in the pool, and visit the local sites, including our nearest towns of  Cahors and Gourdon.

Visit our Facilities page to find out more about our tents, and view the Gallery for more photos.

"Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! We had the most wonderful holiday staying in this safari tent.  This is truly a beautiful location and our tent had a spectacular, unspoilt view of the French countryside.  The tent itself is very comfortable and luxurious, but you still feel very much at one with the nature around you. We couldn’t believe how well we all slept, the peace and darkness gave us the best night’s sleep we’ve had in years.
This was our first visit to the Lot area and we weren’t disappointed.  There’s plenty to do with a family but the area still has a very authentic and unspoilt French charm.  Amy and her family were fantastic hosts and left us to enjoy our holiday while still being there when we needed them. Already planning our return!"

"What a truly beautiful setting; peaceful and with simply amazing views over the surrounding hills. (The sunsets are also spectacular over a glass of wine!). This is the perfect area for outdoor activities, yet only a short drive from the historic towns of Cahors, Figeac, ancient bastides and canoeing on the river Lot. Hosts Amy and Garry could not be more welcoming or helpful. Extremely strongly recommended."
